There are some books of the Bible whose authors cannot be known completely.
The first five books of the Bible, - Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy, are referred to in other parts of the Bible and by Jesus himself, as the books of Moses.

The Bible tells us that Adam and Eve were the first man and woman and Cain was their first son. His wife must therefore have been his sister. This seems strange (or worse!) to us but we know that that is where the human race all started, and this incest was under God's control and guidance.

The Bible is quite definite on its view. If you believe that it is the Word of God, and therefore containing inspired and infallible advice, then it is against women preachers.

The Bible tells us that when we are dead we know absolutely nothing.

There are many circumstances which bring extra difficulties to a marriage – difference of race or culture, difference of education or ability, marked difference in social background, wide disparity in age, etc. It is really the choice of the couple themselves.

Mary and Joseph did have children, therefore they were Jesus' half-brothers and-sisters. Matthew 13:56 reads: "Isn't his mother's name Mary, and aren't his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? Aren't all his sisters with us?"

The Bible does not anywhere indicate that tithing is applicable or expected in our time at all. It was a system which was brought in following the exodus from Egypt and the forming of the children of Israel into a nation of their own.

The phrase 'once saved always saved' does not occur in the Bible, or any other wording which means the same. We believe that the Bible does, in fact, not teach that. The belief has mainly arisen from faulty translation of the Bible; in such verses as:

Baptism became an important part of believing after Jesus Christ himself gave the instruction that it should be done.
"Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation, whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned." Mark 16:15,16.

Shortly after Jesus ascended to heaven, he made a promise to the Apostles -
we read in Acts 1:8:

The Bible says nothing at all about purgatory.
The Catholics and some Eastern churches say it is a place where people go when they die, to be purified from their venial excusable, pardonable sins.

The day of worship was changed from the Sabbath (Saturday) under the Law of Moses in the time following Jesus' death and resurrection. The Ante-Nicene Fathers, Vol 1, pp 62,63
